The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the dates for the 2023 10th and 12th standard exams. The UP board exams 2023 will be held in two parts – pre-boards and board exams for 10th and 12th standards.
The pre-board exams of the UP board will be held between January 16th and January 20th 2023. These dates were announced earlier by the UPSEC. The practical exams for UP board 12th standard will be held between January 21st and February 5th 2023.
UP board exams 2023 for 10th standard
The UP board exams 2023 for the 10th standard will start on February 16th and end on March 3rd. The first paper will be on general knowledge, and the last paper will be on social sciences.
UP board exams 2023 for 12th standard
The UP board exams 2023 for the 12th standard will start on February 16th and end on March 4th. The exams will start with the Hindi paper on the first day and end with chemistry and social sciences.
Both 10th and 12th standard UP board exams 2023 will start at 8am and end at 11.15am. The candidates will be allowed 15 minutes to read their question papers carefully.
UP board exams 2023: Increase in the number of centres and candidates
Divyakant Shukla, the secretary of the UPMSP, has announced that there will be 373 more examination centres in the state to cater to the increase in the number of candidates appearing for the UP board exams 2023.
Shukla claimed that the UPMSP is the largest school education board in size. He informed the press that 5,867,398 candidates have registered for the UP board exams 2023, an increase of nearly 600,000 students vis-Ã -vis the number of applicants in 2022.
Shukla informed that 1,698,023 male students and 1,418,462 female students have registered for the 10th standard board exam, while 1,531,571 male students and 1,219,342 female students have registered for the 12th standard board exam.

Students can view and download the date sheet for UP board exams 2023 at https://upmsp.edu.in. Shukla claimed that the students could directly download the timetable from the website.
