The Bharatiya Janata Partyโs (BJP) Telangana provincial president Bandi Sanjay Kumar promised to fill up 200,000 vacancies in the state if the party is voted to power. The BJP leader also promised to release โjob calendarsโ annually if itโs voted to power.
The BJP leader, known for his hardliner Hindutva approach and accused of fomenting communal trouble as well as in a paper-leak case, accused Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao of providing government jobs to his family members and ignoring the unemployed people of the state.
Sanjay Kumar, a member of the Parliament (MP) from Karimnagar, spoke at the BJPโs โNirudyoga Marchโ (March of the unemployed) organised at Sangareddy town near Hyderabad. The BJP leader also slammed Raoโs Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government for the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC)โpublic service recruitment test of the stateโpaper leak.
Accusing the BRS of playing with the fate of the unemployed youth, Sanjay Kumar sought a relief of Rs 100,000 each for those who suffered due to the TSPSC paper leak. He demanded the removal of Telanganaโs Information and Technology Minister KT Rama Rao for his alleged failure in preventing the TSPSC paper leak.
The BJP MP demanded that the state government form an enquiry commission headed by a sitting judge to probe the TSPSC paper leak and arrest the perpetrators.
Earlier, the Telangana Police had accused and arrested Sanjay Kumar in a case related to the circulation of the Staff Selection Commissionโs (SSC) Hindi exam paper on WhatsApp. He later got bail in the case.
Also slamming the BRS-led Telangana government for its alleged failure in paying salaries to government employees, implement farm loan waivers and provide relief to the farmers hit by unseasonal rain, Sanjay Kumar declared that the BJP will also organise โNirudyoga Marchesโ in Adilabad, Khammam and Nizamabad. Earlier, marches took place in Warangal and Mahabubnagar.
The BRS has so far not commented on the allegations levelled by the BJP MP. Telangana will have assembly elections later this year.
