Former Russian president Medvedev threatens to eliminate Ukraine’s Zelenskyy

Dmitry Medvedev said there is no other option but to eliminate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a recent drone attack on Kremlin.

Dmitry Medvedev said there is no other option but to eliminate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a recent drone attack on Kremlin.

Dmitry Medvedev, Russia’s former president and Russian Security Council’s deputy chairman, informed on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, May 3rd, that the recent Ukrainian drone strike on the Kremlin, targeting President Vladimir Putin, has left Moscow with no options other than the physical elimination of Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his clique that rules Kiev.

“After today’s terrorist attack, there are no options left other than the physical elimination of Zelensky and his clique”, Medvedev declared on his Telegram channel. Earlier on Wednesday morning, the Kremlin’s press service had informed that President Putin wasn’t harmed in the drone strike, which was thwarted by the Russian defence forces.

Medvedev said that the Ukrainian president need not sign an instrument of unconditional surrender anymore. “Hitler, as is known, did not sign it either. There will always be some substitute”, he added.

Earlier, Medvedev had said that Zelenskyy won’t have a choice to negotiate with Moscow but will have to sign wherever he would be told to. Now, following Ukraine’s drone attack on Moscow, Medvedev called for the elimination of Zelenskyy.

Moscow calls the attack on the Kremlin a “terrorist” act targeting Putin and with a motive to disrupt the celebration of the Soviet Union’s Victory Day against Nazi Germany on May 9th this year.

Amid Medvedev’s threat to eliminate Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian president left Ukraine for Finland to attend the Nordic leaders’ summit. He reportedly asserted in Finland that Ukraine will win the war against Russia in 2023 itself.
